THE DOCTRINE OF HARAPPAN CIVILIZATION
During 1920, a fascinating discovery in Indian sub-continent proved that Egypt and Mesopotamia were not the "early civilizations." The Indus/Harappan civilization had existed before the Egyptian and Mesopotamian.
The people of this Indus / Harappan civilization neither build massive monuments like Pyramid nor did buried their dead in golden tombs. The Indus/Harappan inhabitants had taken a practical approach in supporting the common, secular and peace living. Surely, they followed spiritual life and believed in ‘Life after death’.
Excavated human bones reveal no signs of violence, no indication of battle and no evidence of an army had taken place; only very few weapons had been found. There was no evidence for violent wars or bloody battles in their territory.
All evidences point that a preference for peace and success in achieving it had existed. There are lot of written documentary evidence about their civilization on seals, in the form of symbols and scripts.
‘The doctrine of Harappan civilization’ is basically a guide to decode the symbols and scripts etched on the seals.
